The present Georgina Island Native United Church was built in 1964.
Beginning July 2006, our services will be conducted by Reverend Betty Lou McNabb. Services are at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings and Church School for the children will be held on Wednesdays at 3:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the services!
The church board consists of Chairperson, Barbara McDonald, Treasurer Lynn Mooney, Secretary Natalie Priester and Board Members, Sue Hoeg, Albert Big Canoe, Clara Big Canoe and Rachel Fournier.
The church committee holds various fundraising events throughout the year, such as the annual pancake supper, bake sales and participates in the annual Christmas concert. As well, the church assists children wishing to attend Camp Big Canoe during the summer holidays.
Georgina Island Native United Church is ever present and strong in faith in our community.
