The fibre network within our community is owned by Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation (CGIFN) and operated in partnership with Coextro Internet Services. This partnership ensures reliable, high‑quality connectivity for residents and leaseholders throughout the community.
New Home Internet Connections
If a leaseholder wishes to request a new fibre Internet connection to their home or lot, a quote will be provided by CGIFN/Coextro.
All costs associated with new installations are the responsibility of the leaseholder.

Protecting Fibre Infrastructure on Your Property
Residents and leaseholders are reminded to be aware of the location of fibre lines and connection points on their properties. To prevent service interruptions and costly repairs, please use caution when:
- Cutting grass
- Digging or trenching
- Constructing buildings, sheds, decks, or fences
- Making any alterations to your land
Damage to fibre lines can result in service outages and repair costs billed to the responsible party.
