On/Off Reserve Education Guideline

To the Georgina Island First Nation Community,

The Georgina Island First Nation Education Department is committed to supporting families in understanding the schooling options available both on and off reserve. The following information outlines current guidelines in accordance with the Education Transportation Policy approved by Chief and Council. These regulations ensure equitable access to education while maintaining responsible use of community resources.

Families considering off-reserve schooling options are encouraged to contact the Education Department as early as possible. Early communication supports timely planning for transportation(where eligible), tuition arrangements, and student transitions.
